Along with the full alphabet that includes Uppercase, Lowercase, Ligatures and Swash set, and script phrases, we experimented with “cookie-fying” the lettering to give everything that baked in feel.
While the cookie-fied lettering is the star, I also created some really fun and bouncy scripted phrases that are monoweight to represent piped icing on cakes and desserts.
The swash set really helped add another level of detail to really make it fun and specific to Butterbean’s world. Puddlebrook is tropical so Laura wanted to tap into that so we added “vine” accents to the swashes.
